Valter is a family man that works all day, and goes to school at night. He comes home to a routine: kisses his children good night, warms up his dinner, and chats with his wife Iara while she has a smoke.  But when three loud, raucous twenty-somethings move in next door, Valter's perception of mundane life is suddenly uprooted. With every passing interrupted day, he becomes strategically aware of the vulnerability of his home, and his young daughter and son. He is consumed by looking out the kitchen window, keeping an eye on his neighbors in case they satisfy his suspicions of criminal behavior. But his constant vigilance only leads to paranoia and soon becomes more involved in their lives than he wants to be.
