The Spanish Virtual Classroom (Aula Virtual de Español) is an Internet-based tool set up to provide Spanish instruction online. With the online program students learn to express themselves in Spanish in a variety of situations, and study all aspects of the Spanish language: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, culture, and the richness and diversity of the Spanish speaking world.

The AVE covers the four levels of the Instituto Cervantes curriculum: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Superior.
The levels are sub-divided into four courses. Each course has 3 big topics, plus complementary activities, three tests, a final task and an Interactive Graphic Adventure, to help students reinforce their communication skills.
With more than 2,000 activities per course, the AVE incorporates materials from different sources, such as the press, literature, cinema, music, etc, that provide a better insight of Spanish culture and society.

Let us know which course you would like to register in. When you register for a course, you will receive by e-mail an username and password.
Students who successfully finish any of the AVE courses will receive a certificate of completion.
