Students of Instituto Cervantes and members that have a library card can borrow materials from the library.
General users: maximum of 8 titles (maximum 3 audiovisual materials) for the following periods of time:

Any loan may be renewed provided that it has not been requested by any other user. The renewal request must be made before the end of the loan period. Renewals are allowed by phone, fax, and e-mail.
This service is restricted to users who are not residents of Chicago, and it requires a library card. The material must be requested in writing and the cost of shipping must be paid by the patron.
This service provides access in the library to documents that are part of the collections of other Spanish libraries. The costs will be established by the library that makes the loan.
The library manages in collaboration with Spanish libraries and information centers the acquisition of reproductions or original copies of works (books or articles) not available in their collections. The fees will depend on the institutions that supply the documents
